GDPR Event at Ionian University in Corfu

The Ionian University Computer Department organized a stakeholder interaction event on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
As part of the project “DEFeND – Data Governance to Support Compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation” implemented under the H2020 and funded by the European Union, an interactive event was held with Scientific Assistant Professor Angeliki Tsochou. The event was held at the Ionian University.

The event was addressed to stakeholders and citizens interested in GDPR. In particular there was a presentation by Defend’s legal partner Bird & Bird on the current status of implementation of the GDPR and another presentation about the relation between GDPR and Healthcare by Defend’s pilot partner “Foundation for Biomedical Research Hospital Infantil Universitario Niño Jesus”
